4 months have gone since articles and we have scattered to all parts of the world. I'm really interested to hear how things are going with people and where they are. In London now and still trying to settle down here. I have managed to get in touch with a couple of people who are here: Jules, DC, Judge (Kilian), Bemster and Ziggy and have been in touch with a couple via mail. I have heard that Colleen Smith is here too , but I haven't seen her yet.
I am currently working at Morgan Stanley in Canary Wharf which seems to keep me relatively busy, but nothing like working on deadline at the good old K. It is a reasonable job which pays well which is good enough for now. Very strage to go to work and not be going to work with a whole lot of friends.
I would be good to see a couple more posts of how things are going wherever you are in the world.
Cheers

Same old same old
Its been 2 months post articles and life has gone on. I am glad to be out of there and not missing it one bit although its true u do miss the people you worked with and going out to clients. I am office bound and actually miss seeing different people ever so often.
What has everyone else been up to? Me i'm still trying to find my feet have to deal with the auditors though. But i know their methodology as its KPMG so that a bummer for me and them.
Keep posting.

Hi Guys
3 years! Wow, how time has flown. Articles is not ordinarily the best working years of a person's life, but getting to know each one of you and gaining the friendships I have over the 3 years was well worth the blood, sweat and tears. From Tulbach to Saldanah it was a rollercoast ride.
I wish all of you the best in your futures as you move into a new stage in your lives. Stay in contact.
T minus 7.5 hrs and counting.

From the computer illiterate!
hey there cronies
This is a test to see whether I am doing the correct thing on this "Blog" thing. Well if I am, here it goes. I think I big thanks must go out to the Bell for her dedication in getting this thing set up, looks great, now i just need to discover how to use it.
Joing KPMG Cape Town as lonely PE boy, with my HelpMySterkLykHempie (as nege called it), I thought I was in for a treat of stuck up, snootie and clicky Cape Townians!
What I discovered however was quite the opposite! Still the one thing I think the company has going for them is the people and I think I wouldn't have enjoyed one bit if were not for all you monkeys!
As Jules said, all the jols, all the pub nights, all the Mets, all the sports weekends, all the functions and then all the social stuff outside KPMG - these are memories which are unforgettable!
Well I have loved meeting everyone too (yes that includes you Abbs). Please lets keep in touch as I feel lonely being one of a few staying in Cape Town, let alone SA!

New Beginnings
Being the instigator of such madness .....I thought it appropriate that I should be the 1st to post. So here it goes........
These 3 years have had their UPs and DOWNs..............exams, results drinks, late nights working, late night pubs, 1st year in Tulbach, 2nd in Saldahna & 3rd in Grabouw, KAM, idea, independence training............DIALOGUE, terrible salaries AND countless company pool swims (no names mentioned), but I'll take with me many very happy memories with all of you.
I have loved getting to know each and every one one of you and you have all in your own ways enhanced my life. I will miss you all terribly but hope that (even if its once a year) you log on to this blog and post a message so that we know whats happening in YOUR world, and I will try and do the same. Here are some of my photos to start the process.....
